Dean keeps getting bigger and smarter. He wont slow down for anything.
Check out the ear. It's not quite as pointy as it was at birth.Dean is learning to make new noises all of the time. Sometimes he'll mix up noises so it sounds like a sentence "aaa goo ee ah". His favorite noise is "kkkkkkkgooo"
He rolls from back to side easily and often. He's rolled from back to front once. He doesn't roll off his tummy at all.
He started drooling. He makes some pretty impressive spit bubbles. He also spits trying to "bbb". I often have a couple wet spots where Dean leaves his mark on me. Right now I'm a little damp on the shoulder.
Dean is becoming interested in touching things and reaching his hands out to them. He doesn't grasp things very well, but he can.
He laughs and smiles, but he usually has that curious look on his face. I get the impression he is thinking, remembering, and figuring out all the people and things around him.
He sleeps all night inconsistently. I think that if he'd stop growing he'd sleep 8 hours at night, but he usually wants fed in the middle of the night.
I love this baby! I love spending all day with him. I love his smiles. I love watching him learn. Thanks to James for working all the time so I can play with Dean all day.
Great pictures and video. When he does figure out how to move, he is going to be all over the place. He seems to be so curious and alert. He takes after his very bright and intelligent parents.

ReplyDeleteHe looks so grown up and strong! He's like a little muscle man. I love how serious he is about talking and how he just stares at you like he really wants to impress his mom and has something very important and urgent to say! What a delight, thanks for the videos and pictures.
ReplyDeleteSydney loved those videos. She was sitting with me at the desk smiling and talking back to Dean. I guess she know what he was saying.
