She prefers to hold socks in her mouth but she does it with some small bean bags, too.
The conversation. I wanted to remember the way he talks when he's trying to hold my attention. he mostly identifies things he sees.
Dean helped me cook eggs for this video. we did it again yesterday but I let him stand on a chair. when he was pointing to tell me it was hot, he bumped his last two knuckles on the frying pan. He's got a tiny blister on one of his knuckles. It really freaked me out!
Teaching Dean some moves.
This wasn't a particularly successful video. I was intending to catch Dean and Jane at their games. Dean pretends Jane is chasing him and crawls away from her squealing. Jane follows him with a smile and gets really excited even though she has no idea what's happening. Sometimes Dean plays this game when Jane is entirely oblivious, too. Jane is a "dada" girl. She never says 'mama' but constant 'yadadada's is her usual vocal exercise.
So nice to see that mom still has the moves! Dean is coming along nicely. Soon he'll be cooking his own breakfast! I love that Jane still has the one leg flipping out on her crawl. It reminds me of Jack's breaststroke kick when he was little!
ReplyDeleteCute videos. I am so glad for the videos I took of Sophie when she was younger, because we forget! You're kids are so cute together and you are such a good mom. I may suggest having Dean help you with mixing instead of the cooking... burns can be bad. But that's just my personal philosphy. :) Love you!
ReplyDeleteI think Sydney is going through Dean withdrawals again. She just wants to watch the videos and says "More Dean". She's getting over a cold(finally) so we should get them together soon!
ReplyDeleteHumm, I thought I'd commented on these great pictures and videos! I was just going to add something, I'll start with saying what I thought I'd already said; Jen still has awesome moves! Dean is talking very well and Jane's doginess must be in the genes since Sophie did the same thing. The new couch is lovely and did I see a glass table in the last Dean shot? Nice! I imagine Dean will be cooking his own breakfast soon!
