Dean took an early and short nap one morning this week. later in the afternoon, it got really quiet upstairs. I went up there to discover him sleeping on the floor having acquired a pacifier and his blanket from the crib. When he woke up I took a couple pictures.
side note -- 2 weeks ago, I was going to meet some of the ladies in the ward at the Rodeo so the kids could see the animals. One of my friends just had a baby so I picked up her 2-year-old and brought her with us. when I got there, I was surprised to find it was an enormous event and crawling with people on a Wed. afternoon. I didn't worry too much because there were going to be some friends who could help me with the kids. Wrong! No one showed up (including the girl who invited me). We had already figured out how to park, walked several blocks and paid entrance fees, so I decided to stick it out. I have to say, I'm lucky I didn't lose anyone. keeping 2 year olds with you in a crowd is nearly impossible and when you have a huge 2-seater jogging stroller (not to mention a baby who won't sit in a stroller forever) nigh impossible. I have to say it was amusing how people stared. It was like I had two heads. We managed somehow. What an adventure! I wish I had pictures, but even if I'd taken the camera that would have been difficult. Whew.

Wow! I'm impressed that you didn't lose any kids! I almost got separated from my group at a rodeo. You're good Jenny! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they are on the mend! Dean looks very sweet eating his apple in the chair. You are brave! I hardly go anywhere with Elliott and nowhere when I have Elliott and Emmett!.
